Today we read chapter one of Orson Scott Card's, Ender's Game. After reading the first chapter, Card displays a setting in a dystopian society where an innocent six year old boy named Ender is not considered a person, but a living "experiment". The government put a monitor chip on the back of his neck in order to view everything that is going on in his life. It is clearly displayed that Ender is alienated from the other children because they envied him since he was special. Society changes Ender to act more like an adult rather then a small child he truly is.
