The plan: everyday we will read another section of the Odyssey and discuss what it represents and how it affects us still today. Students will apply that to writing their own story and to finding historical articles or current events that relate to the story.

Classwork: 11/30-12/1: We read Book 1 and 9. We wrote a five minute story challenge as a class to practice for our exposition.

Homework: Find any article you like on any of the topics discussed in class: War reparations, battles lost because of over confidence, beautiful dangers, drugs, alcoholism, etc. Annotate to compare it to the Odyssey. 20 min. Write your exposition: 10-20 min. Your adventure should start with adventure. Just like in class- do not describe your hero/heroine unless it is part of the action.
