Take the practice Literary Terms quiz with a partner.
This will count as a grade, but you get to take it with a partner, take it again for more points next time, AND know how to study better. :) 50 pts. (next time 100 pts.)

Using the Chromebooks, login to StudySync.
StudySync Reminders: login button is at the side ---->
User name: FLAST#### (First initial, last name, last 4 id. #'s)
Password: LWholeID# (Last initial, whole id. #)
You have two assignments to work on. Both require you to think about literary devices
& "The Harvest Gypsies" will give you more insight to the world of the Great Depression and into
Steinbeck.

For the Moving Words assignment:
Annotate
(at least 5 highlights and three comments)
and then write a thesis quality response
for the Blast/tweet.
For Harvest Gypsies:
  • Watch the video
  • Annotate
  • Take the quiz
  • Write the response.
Finish at home if not complete.

If you finish, you may go back to work on your
"To a Mouse" paragraph.
It was the first essay assignment for the quarter, so if you didn't complete it...
it affected your grade significantly.
Please turn it in.

I will accept it over the next week for less credit.
Please complete both StudySync assignments first.
They also have portions that count for essay/test credit: thesis, quiz, and response.
Annotations count for homework.
