Now that you are good at this, it is time to do some deeper investigations and readings on your own. From now on Heroes, Gods and Monsters of Greek Myths will be silent reading. For points you need to bring it everyday and to be reading during silent reading time. You may work on your notes for the book or articles, songs, movies, etc. that further your ideas. Once you are finished with the book, you may bring your own reading. There will continue to be quizzes and tests. Share your connections: songs, movies, articles. I posted some samples below shared by students. :)
Essay: 2+ Gods, Goddesses, Demi-Gods and/or Monsters, etc and What They Might Represent.
Discuss the story and what it may reflect in reality. You may work in pairs or alone. If you are in a partnership, one member will turn the essay in with both names. Your rough draft is in Google Classroom and you have time to work on Friday 9/28. Have fun!
