A note from Ms. Bell,
It's that time of year again :) I will be offering a few times for students to come in to write a short essay and take a short multiple choice in order to expose them to the curriculum and give students a chance to ask about AP in general. This is meant to help students and teachers make more informed choices about the AP rec. I know we have more kids than ever asking to join AP classes. This is exciting, but comes with the caution that we still want to make sure they are properly placed.
The times for essays and multiple choice are as follows:
Thursday 2/16: 7-8:30 am and 12:25 -12:55
Friday 2/17: 7-8:30 am
The preference is that they come in for a total of one hour: half hour for the essay and half hour for the multiple choice. Then we will be offering an additional lunch opportunity to talk with current AP students, especially those who have come from CP classes the previous year. That will be Friday 2/17 at 12:25 - 12:55.
