A.P. is a wonderful challenge for those who are ready for it, but it is a tough class whether you are ready or not. You should demonstrate an ease with the Sophomore curriculum, constantly achieving over 100%. I give out a lot of extra credit for amazing work, so there are always people with an A+ in the course. Also, be aware that you cannot switch out of the class, and that while students should always challenge themselves, your transcript grades are important too.
If you would like to know more about A.P., Ms. Bell is hosting both a sample test and discussion time. The preference is that students come in for a total of one hour:
half hour for the essay and half hour for the multiple choice.
The times for essays and multiple choice are as follows:
Thursday 2/18: 7-8:30 am and 12:25 -12:55
Friday 2/19: 7-8:30 am
Opportunity to talk with current AP students,
especially those who have come from CP classes the previous year.
Friday 2/19 at 12:25 - 12:55.
